About my work
I'm a local artist hailing from Auckland's North Shore.
My works often consist of vibrant and buzzy representations of the world around me, the rhythms and patterns within nature are often the center of my artistic analysis.
Painting in bright colour my passion lies in the exploration of incredible complexity that can be found within nature. I'm a firm believer in the power of our natural world as a source of inspiration and respite when we need it most.
Primarily working in acrylics, I often start with a rough outline which I then developed and refine intuitively into the finished artwork. Because of this my process can be quite unpredictable. I revel in the excitement of discovering the direction my journey will take.
I've been executing commercial mural projects since 2022 and are a firm advocate for the power of artwork to enrich our urban spaces with vibrancy and character. I also believe the presence of artwork in schools is essential for inspiring our young kiwis to enjoy their learning spaces, to aim high and reach their potential.
