  • Tendrils

Tendrils underwent many stages of development. I started with the idea to paint the base of a tree trunk with its roots working thier way into the soil. This changed when i realised these roots looked alot like tenticles so i scrapped that idea and changed it into an octopus,

Almost the entire painting was improvised, slowly building up the layers one by one until I was satisfied. This painting was a creative outlet over quite a few months, many late nights spent zoning out and letting the patterns paint themselves.
